About Coach Q
Hi! I'm Quincy Caldwell.
My basketball journey started at Johnson High School and continued at Anoka Ramsey Jr. College, earning accolades like All Region, All State, and All Conference. After playing professional basketball for three years, a torn achilles tendon forced me to retire early. However, my passion for the game never waned. This led me to establish S.W.A.G. Elite Training, coaching athletes from diverse backgrounds, ranging from 10-year-olds to professionals.
Transitioning to coaching, I became head basketball coach at Prairie Seed Academy in 2014, leading the team to three conference championships over four years with an average of 22 wins per season. I also organize and host basketball camps across multiple states, including Minnesota, Florida, Georgia, and Texas.
In 2016, I ventured into amateur boxing, later coaching both amateur and professional boxers starting in 2019. Amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I redefined my coaching philosophy and brand, evolving S.W.A.G. Elite Training into Coach Q's Training with a holistic approach to athlete development.
